PM Assembly Schedule
Pep Rally!

Today, you will have time in class to work on your Presentation Project with your partner or group. If you haven't already, you might want to do the following things:

- Select a passage/scene for your presentation
     *I do not have to approve this, but if you would like me to double check that it is appropriate for a 
        group of your size, please let me know.
- Rewrite the scene into modern day English (if that is the route you are choosing to go)
- Distribute parts based on how much each person in your group wants to read/perform
- Practice scenes aloud with the appropriate tone of voice and inflection for the emotion that character is trying to convey.
      * If you are unsure how a character would be saying something, please ask -- I will gladly guide 
         you.
- Begin to think about what gestures and physical movements would be necessary for your scene as well.
- Begin to think about if you need more time outside of class to rehearse and practice your scene. Please remember that you should have MOST of your lines "memorized" and will be using your book/script only for guidance, not to read directly out of.

I also will be checking Grammar Worksheet: Gerunds and Gerund Phrases B. The answers will be on the Smartboard. Please make sure you take 5 minutes of class time to check your work.

*You should be close to finished with your FIFTH SSR BOOK. You will be getting your project for this assignment within the next 2 weeks.

Spring Recess Update 3/31/18

I have graded all Literature Chapter One Tests. The grades are in RealTime. If you are interested in Extra Credit, please see the separate post and share with me on Google Docs by Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 at 11:00A.M. Period 6-7 ONLY will have until Thursday, April 5th, 2018 at 11:00A.M. to complete extra credit because their grades went in significantly later than the other classes. I apologize for that. Please make sure you title the document Literature Extra Credit, as I will have personal narratives in my inbox and I do not want to get them confused. I have begin to grade the SSR Timeline Projects. All of Period 1-2's grades are listed in Real Time. If a zero appears, you have not handed in this assignment in.
