DeSimone Update 4/10/18

Hi, friends!

I have finished grading all SSR Logs and they have been returned to school with their checklists. All grades appear in Real Time. I organized them by class period and Mr. Murphy will pass them back to you today. If by some chance, you still have an SSR Log that you would like graded, you must speak to Mr. Murphy about it. You will lose 20 points for lateness, and whether or not Mr. Murphy chooses to grade them for this final test grade of marking period three is entirely up to him.

I have awarded extra credit as appropriate on the Grammar Chapter 5 Quizzes for corrections, signatures, and extra credit assignments completed. All updated grades appear in Real Time, but only Period 1-2 quizzes have been returned to school.

I have begun to grade the Literature Test Extra Credit and Personal Narratives. Grades appear in Real time for Period 1-2 only. However, it appears that many people failed to share their final draft with me as I asked. It is possible that your essay is lurking under someone else's name, in which case I will gladly grade it as on time when I find it. However, if a zero appears as your grade and/or I have not seen your name as I sorted through my inbox, it is more than likely that you did not share it with me. 
YOU MAY SHARE IT WITH ME BETWEEN NOW AND FRIDAY FOR LATE CREDIT OF 50 POINTS. 
Please remember that this is NOT the first time you've shared a document with me on Google Docs.
You KNOW you must share a final draft with me a second time in order to get credit. There will be no exceptions (unless, like I said, I find your essay lurking under someone else's name, in which case it came through as on time and Gmail is just wacky.) 
If you are not sure if you shared it, you may share it again. Also, if you resolved comments, I count that as shared because it comes to my inbox. 
IF YOUR NAME IS NOT IN MY INBOX THROUGH A SHARE OR A RESOLVED COMMENT, I CANNOT GRADE YOUR ESSAY. IF I CANNOT GRADE YOUR ESSAY, YOU EARN A ZERO.

Friday April 13th is the last day I can accept Personal Narratives.

Welcome Baby Henry!

Baby Henry David was born on Wednesday, April 18th, 2018, weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long. Baby Henry came early because Mommy had sudden onset of a disorder called HELLP Syndrome and the doctors felt the best treatment for everyone was to make an early entrance! Maybe we can visit in June after all!
