Literature Chapter One Test (Plot)

Tomorrow, Tuesday, you will have a test on the literary terms and stories that we have read in this chapter of Elements of Literature. You will be able to use your five subject notebook on your test. The following information will be on your test. what belongs in your notebook is in italics.

Plot parts and vocabulary terms 
The definitions of all bold faced terms on pages 2-3
"Broken Chain" by Gary Soto
Retelling or plot map of "Broken Chain"
Definitions of external and internal conflict, retelling, and five vocabulary words on page 16
"Road Warriors, Listen Up: Some Rules for Street Wise Biking"
The definitions of proposition and support (page 29)
*THE TEXT OF THE ARTICLE WILL BE INCLUDED ON YOUR TEST*
You will have to hand in a retelling of "Broken Chain" or "The Wise Old Woman" or "The Open Window"
* THE RETELLING RATING SHEET WILL BE PROVIDED FOR YOU *

Welcome Baby Henry!

Baby Henry David was born on Wednesday, April 18th, 2018, weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long. Baby Henry came early because Mommy had sudden onset of a disorder called HELLP Syndrome and the doctors felt the best treatment for everyone was to make an early entrance! Maybe we can visit in June after all!
