Do Now SSR Time (15 minutes) We will begin to keep our daily reading logs tomorrow. Grammar Review Simple and Complete Predicates (period 1 only) I will check Grammar homework tomorrow and we will move on to the next page tomorrow as well. Literature Complete Summer Reading chart -- they are on the back table. You must work with someone who read the book/watched the movie that you didn't in order to complete this. We will talk about this tomorrow and we will begin to discuss possible topics for a compare and contrast essay. Homework Remember, you should be reading your SSR book EVERY DAY  both in class and at  home. Whatever book YOU chose, you must finish it by October 10th.  You will have a Grammar Chapter 1 Quiz Friday or Monday next week. If you finish early, read your SSR book.
