*You MUST show me what you have accomplished yesterday and today in order to acquire extra time over this weekend. I'd prefer to have you hand this in at the end of class, but as long as you used your time wisely, the project will be due on Monday.

*You are WRITING SENTENCES using these clauses. Add an independent clause*

Literature

*You will have to re-write each sentence*

Writing
I have finished reading MOST Personal Narratives. Please see my comments and the suggestions that I have made. If you have any questions, please let me know. (Due Date for Final Drafts TBD)

Poetry
Write a response to "Barbara Frietchie" by John Greenleaf Whittier. You can look at a list of questions on yesterday's post.

You will be taking your Grammar Chapter 6 Quiz today. You may use Holt Handbook , your notebook, your notes sheet, and your homework packet. Welcome Baby Henry!

Baby Henry David was born on Wednesday, April 18th, 2018, weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long. Baby Henry came early because Mommy had sudden onset of a disorder called HELLP Syndrome and the doctors felt the best treatment for everyone was to make an early entrance! Maybe we can visit in June after all!
