Write a response journal -- How does this poem make you feel emotionally? Can you make any associations to your own life and dreams/aspirations? What do you notice about the language (i.e. do you notice any similes)? Do you have any questions about this poem?

Welcome Baby Henry!

Baby Henry David was born on Wednesday, April 18th, 2018, weighing 8 pounds and 4 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long. Baby Henry came early because Mommy had sudden onset of a disorder called HELLP Syndrome and the doctors felt the best treatment for everyone was to make an early entrance! Maybe we can visit in June after all!
