1.5 Days Left Until Spring Recess/Maternity Leave!

Things To Do

*HAND IN YOUR SSR LOG IF YOU HAVE NO ALREADY DONE SO*

1) Check Real Time to see if you are interested in taking a Post-Assessment re-take today. I will be asking some people to take re-takes, but if I do not ask you, and you would like to do it, please let me know today.

2) Use Chrome Books to look at comments and revise personal narratives as necessary. Please ask me today if you have any questions on your personal narratives.

3) We will be going over Holt Handbook Page 130 and catching up on discussing grammar together.

4) Complete Holt Handbook Page 132: Review A. You MUST be able to accurately find the clauses. We will talk about how to figure out what part of speech they are acting as, but you will not need to do this for regular credit on your quiz.

5) IF YOU HAVE BEEN GETTING ALL OF YOUR GRAMMAR HOMEWORK AND EXERCISES CORRECT, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THIS EXERCISE -- Holt Handbook Page 133: Review B

7) Finish Naviance survey if you did not finish. You will not have time to look at careers/colleges/programs/salary guides/etc. but I suggest you spend time doing this at home. 

6) Read SSR Book (I will be giving back the logs that were submitted on Monday.

Grades That Will Be Entered for Third Marking Period Between Now and April 16th

- Literature Test (test grade) *Grades are in for periods 1, 3, & 5

- SSR Timeline Project (project grade) *grades will go in over Spring Break -- can still be handed in late

- SSR Logs (test grade) *I will take them tomorrow for 15 points off, but cannot take them after that. It will be a zero. I will have to take home logs given to me tomorrow and return them after Spring Break

- Personal Narratives (test grade) *grades will go in during spring break -- can still be handed in for final test grade
- Post-Assessment (quiz grade) *grades will be posted today

- Grammar Chapter 6 Quiz (quiz grade) *grades will go in on 4/9

- Grammar Chapter 6 Homework Packet (100-point homework grade) *grades will go in on 4/10

- Characterization Group Work (10 point classwork grade) *grades will go in over spring break
